Require all companies to remove personal information during application process

What the petition asks
Although there are equality laws in place, this doesn't address any unconscious bias or privilege that a recruiter or management may have. We are requesting a change of law change so that any company, charity or public body is required to remove all and any personal information of the candidate.
The removal of this information will need to be separate from the person, department or team that is looking for a candidate.
This should ensure that anybody that has the potential to suceed in any given role, are being judged purely on their skills, talent and experience. Not because of the colour of the skin, gender, religion or sexual orientation.
