Citizenship for working illegal immigrants
Rejected

What the petition asks
Change the content of the citizenship test as it has nothing to do with british daily life, and allow working illegal immigrants to be granted citizenship
During the covid-19 pandemic, illegal immigrants who had been working previously have been denied benefits, as the government claims they are ‘undocumented’ and should not be here. Immigrants who have fled here simply seek a better life, and deserve to be treated with humanity and respect. Many illegal immigrants were living in temporary accommodation on small wages and as a result have been left hungry and homeless.
