What the petition asks
Paternity laws in 2020 are old school.
Currently Dads are only entitled to 2 weeks off at £150 per week or 90% of their wage. what ever one is cheaper
We need the Government to review this law and give Dads the rights they deserve.
Full pay for their paternity time off and minimum 3 weeks off.

I want to Government to review this law and make it fair for Dads so they can bond with their newborn and give their full support to their partners during this time. it can be challenging for new parents at the best of times but when you are limited to 2 weeks off at a reduced pay it not only puts stress on your partner is has financial implications along the way.
Its 2020 and the law needs reviewed.
