What the petition asks

The gravestone at RAF Scampton has been changed due to PC. This is part of history and therefore should not be tampered with.
Reinstated the original gravestone complete with name. You should not try to change history to fit in with modern day thinking. What happened happened and it important to remember and learn from it. This was an improtant part of WW11 and of 617 (The Dambusters) squadron. Its an insult to the RAF and their memory. These brave men deserve all the honers we can bestow on them.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
