Ban body shaming in the media

What the petition asks
Require all media organisations and advertisers to prevent body shaming and reflect the diversity and reality of people's bodies, and give press and media regulators the power to regulate this. As part of that, it should be illegal to publish images of people’s bodies without their consent.
A recent example was passed around Twitter of a participant on Love Island in a bikini, the media had posted this photo trying to portray that she didn't look good, and this attracted so many vile comments about her body.
The shaming from bullies and trolls is being encouraged by some news outlets because they are posting these photos and articles.
These images and comments are so dangerous and damaging, in particular when aimed at young females.
This needs to stop!
