Stop LGBT+ oppression in Poland
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
Poland has created over 100 "LGBT-free zones" and the LGBT community is being ostracized, attacked and discriminated against throughout the country. The newly re-elected Polish president is currently trying to ban same sex couples from adopting, and is treating LGBT people as "enemies of the state".
The Polish government is attacking an entire community's human rights - they need our help. No one should face hatred or violence for simply being who they are.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can only accept petitions that make requests the UK Government or House of Commons are responsible for.
Policy in Poland is a matter for the Polish government and legislature, and any devolved institutions, not the UK Government or House of Commons.
