Change to the Road Traffic Act

What the petition asks
Changes to the Road Traffic Act making it a legal requirement that any driver involved in an accident resulting in injury or death to a cat must to stop and give information or report the accident to the police
The primary goal is to make cat accidents on the road reportable, so the cat gets the opportunity for vet treatment as soon as possible. It could save thousands of lives. After being reported, cats should then be scanned so owners can be notified and in some cases provide closure to the family if there is a fatality
