Include NHS Ambulance & Nursing staff in payrises granted by the Chancellor 21/7

What the petition asks
The government recently announced payrises to be granted to public sector staff-up to 3.1%.This covers NHS medical staff such as Doctors,Dentists, and Emergency Service workers such as Police, but has omitted Nurses and the Ambulance Service, who are on the front line & past rises haven’t met inflation
The Ambulance Service &Nurses must be included in rises, given their role looking after our nation on the front line. Some staff have lived apart from their family to protect them whilst they fight Covid-19 at the forefront, many working additional hours under stressful circumstances and in difficult environments, some have even lost their lives to this virus. They are a key part of our public services and deserve equal treatment. Past rises have purely covered previous years where NO rise was given.
