What the petition asks
To address the inequality and unfairness that those working on the frontline of the NHS have suffered for several years, including a long term pay freeze and a below inflation pay deal implemented over a three year period while the cost of living has increased.
Parliament has the power to implement a fair pay increase which reflects the tireless contribution made on a daily basis by nurses and paramedics.
If the majority of Britain can take the time to stand out and applaud our efforts then surely our government should see the value in our NHS staff and reward them accordingly!
