A referendum to replace the UK voting system with Single Transferable Vote (STV)

What the petition asks
Call for a referendum to replace the current 'First Past The Post' (FPTP) system with the more representative and democratic 'Single Transferable Vote' (STV) system.
We know that there was a referendum in 2011 on a similar point, however, the 'Alternative Vote' system had many flaws, and wasn't favourable.
This petition calls for a referendum around 10 years after the AV referendum. This time for STV which is proven in many areas such as many UK party internal election processes, Ireland, and Scotland among others to be successful and proportionate in representation to the given vote shares for each candidate/party. Making people feel more represented.
