STOP RESTAURANTS FROM DISPLAYING CALORIES ON MENUS

What the petition asks
Stop restaurants from displaying the amount of calories each meal contains on the menus
By displaying calories on menus you’re promoting eating disorders. Anorexia nervosa has the highest death rate of any psychiatric illness, and the amount of people who obsess over calories are rising dramatically. You go out to eat to enjoy yourself and treat yourself not to obsess over calories. This will be extremely detrimental to people’s mental health and those who are already struggling from eating disorders because this is feeding into their addiction with numbers and counting calories.
