Ban Internet Pornography

Rejected 15 signatures

What the petition asks

The Internet allows us to learn new things and connect with each other in the ways that were impossible. However, with every social medium comes the spread of dangerous content. Internet Pornography is a scourge which ruins lives, pre-frontal cortexes and the development of our youth.
Porn actors are often coerced into the industry and major porn websites condone the spread of illegal materials on their platforms, and revenge porn is often used to ruin lives. An investigation into the extent of these issues must be carried out. On top of this, porn is now rife even in parts of the internet in which our children our browsing. Why should parents have to fear that their children may discover something harmful when they are trying to discover more about the world they live in?
