Extend Covid-19 support for self-employed workers in high-risk occupations

What the petition asks
The Government should increase financial support for self-employed workers working in occupations with higher risk of Covid-19, such as those working in close contact services, and chauffeurs and private hire drivers.
The Covid-19 outbreak is dangerous and potentially lethal, especially to those in high-risk occupations, such as those working in close contact services, and chauffeurs and private hire drivers.
Until a safe vaccine arrives many self-employed workers in high-risk occupations will choose not to return to work, and will require further financial assistance.
It is requested that the Government looks at this matter urgently and offers more assistance.
