Rejected

What the petition asks
Ramsgate town council has lost the confidence of the public to who it serves and I would like the government to investigate them and remove the councilor from office.
People has lost the confidence of the people it serves.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for elected representatives to be sacked.
We also can't accept petitions calling for the Government to investigate individual local authorities. Scrutiny of local government is a matter for local elected representatives, not the Government or House of Commons.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:

If you have concerns about your local authority you should raise these with a local Councillor, or the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman: https://www.lgo.org.uk/make-a-complaint/what-we-can-and-cannot-look-at
