Stop the UK Government from making calorie counts a mandatory feature on menus

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Boris Johnson's plan to make calorie counts mandatory on menus will have a hugely negative impact on people trying to recover from eating disorders and should not be implemented
This policy displays a huge lack of empathy towards those struggling with mental illnesses such as eating disorders. There is a mental health crisis in the UK and policies like this only further the issue. It should be compulsory for the Government to consult with mental health specialists before implementing policies such as these.
