Automatic expulsion for misleading &/or contempt of parliament

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

Recently, our PM Boris Johnson, stood up in parliament & spoke of reducing child poverty. Independent bodies have shown this to be false, with no evidence to support it. Misleading & false statements in the house undermine our democracy, yet those who do so, go unpunished & continue to do so.
Bring into legislation, that knowingly misleading parliament be held as contempt & immediate suspension, with an investigation to follow, with the ultimate price for those guilty being expulsion from parliament and it's workings (this may also include advisors & aides)
