Make more changes to A levels 2021

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Reduce the content or add more optional questions (choice of two questions). Ofqual can’t expect us to know all the content in the same depth as other year groups after teaching ourselves for months.
Ofqual can’t expect a group of teenagers (who all have different home lives) to complete the same difficulty exam as previous years when we’ve taught ourselves for months. The areas they’ve reduced are not going to help in the exam... there’s still just as much content in majority of subjects even though we’ve had to teach ourselves half of it.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about qualifications, examinations and assessments in England are a matter for Ofqual, exam boards and individual schools, and are not a matter for the UK Government or Parliament.
