What the petition asks
Beirut, Lebanon is in a state of crisis. The UK Gov must send foreign aid to the people of Lebanon in the form of medical care, food and water supplies and other monetary support necessary to protect survivors.
Economic Instabilty is stopping sufficient aid being delivered to the people who were caught up in the Beirut Explosion. The UK Gov needs to help the people of Beirut by sending equipment, food and water, medical personal and other monetary funds to help.
Not only are Lebanon citizens injured, British Nationals are reported to have suffered injuries at the British Embassy.

Why it was rejected
The UK Government or Parliament was already taking the action it asked for.
Since you started your petition the Government has announced a package of £20 million to help provide food for the most vulnerable in Lebanon, including those affected by the Beirut explosion and its aftermath. This is on top of £5 million already made available to the response by the UK, including support for the British Red Cross for the emergency relief effort: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-pledges-more-aid-for-beirut-crisis-at-global-summit
