Require schools to support home learning during Covid-19 outbreak

What the petition asks
The Govt must require schools to support home learning for students whose carers feel it is unsafe to return. Schools must not able to fine or seek the prosecution of parents who do not send their children to school during a pandemic.
There is evidence that reopening schools under current guidance could increase transmission rates, and so rate of deaths. Allowing parents to be fined and prosecuted for not allowing their children to attend school because of health concerns is inhumane.
Schools should therefore be required to support ongoing home learning for students who do not return.
