What the petition asks
There is no parking for residents in the centre of tewkesbury, especially along Barton Road and in and around the surronding town centre housing.
create parking for residents along Barton Road and the surrounding town centre housing. People are getting parking tickets left right and centre as there is always a traffic warden on hand surprisingly enough. It totally unfair and resident are the ones who are suffering while the government pocket the profit for the lack of a basic necessity for residents.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Provision of parking is a matter for private landowners and local authorities, not the Government or House of Commons.
