If a child tests positive for covid19 they should self isolate at their home

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

If a child tests positive for covid19 they should then self isolate at home with their family, or a place of their legal guardians choice and not under any circumstances be taken to a government facility!!
To allow children to self isolate at their own homes where possible, if this is not possible they should then self isolate to a place of their parents/guardians choice. Under no circumstances should any child be taken to a government facility to isolate against their parents/guardians choice

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Children are not being detained in Government facilities and there are no plans to detain children against parents' wishes. In most cases, medical treatment and testing already needs parental consent. We therefore don't know what you want to happen.
