Introduce emergency core funding to mental health services across the U.K.

What the petition asks
Since the pandemic and also before, figures have clearly shown mental health in the U.K. is suffering, with mental health patients being put on long waiting lists, myself included, it’s not normal and morally wrong to put someone who needs help on a potential two year long waiting list.
For too long the mental health system in the U.K. is broken, waiting times are at all time highs, patients cannot receive the proper care to recover and maintain a happy life thereafter.
Emergency core funding needs to go into mental health clinics across the U.K., to support young people especially, and all who are suffering, even more so since the pandemic.
FUND OUR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES PROPERLY.
