Support children’s education by repeating the last academic year.

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

With children’s mental health and their well-being, being a priority for when they return to school. I feel that it is essential that children should repeat their last academic year.
They only had about 16 weeks in their last academic year and are now expected to be ready for a new academic year.
By allowing children to repeat their last academic year, schools will have time to introduce a plan which will benefit children and young peoples mental health and well-being. This will allow children and young people a chance to be comfortable within their setting, by not having the pressure to worry about not being at the level they are expected to be at. We have seen the unfortunate affect this has had on some and if this isn’t addressed in the correct way now then there will be more cases.
