Make wearing mask in public places like public transport or shops mandatory

Rejected 11 signatures

What the petition asks

Make wearing face masks mandatory in all public places like shops, public transports and other closed spaces where people crowd in bigger numbers.
Many people uses their knowladge about masks from mems and fake news. They put at risk other lifes just because they believe in world conspiracy. They don't understand that masks are to prevent spread virus to others while they may not know if they have COVID-19. As we know, people can have this virus about 14 days without any symptoms but they can still spread it to others.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

It is already the law to wear a face covering on public transport and in shops, we're therefore not exactly sure what further action you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to take.
