Demand the sacking of the Education Secretary Gavin Williamson

Rejected 13 signatures

What the petition asks

I would want the current government to sack the current education secretary due to his woeful planning ahead of A-level results.
The vast majority of students sitting their A-level results around the country have been effected by the education secretaries woeful and inconsistent planning that has been changed last minute several times leading to confusion among students and teachers and many people missing out on their first choice universities crushing their dreams.

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't publish petitions about honours or appointments. That includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or to resign.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could sign or start a petition about that.

Since you started your petition the Government has announced that GCSE and A-level students will receive their centre assessment grades: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/gcse-and-a-level-students-to-receive-centre-assessment-grades
