Harsher sentences for animal cruelty, thorough investigations for missing pets

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Prison sentences for animal cruelty and killing of people’s loved pets. Also, complete investigations of missing and stolen animals as if it was a child. There has been so many dogs going missing and nothing is being done. The people have been known and police done nothing.
Dogs are being stolen and taken to be murdered and made to fight. This needs to end.
We need new laws on animal cruelty so people stop loosing their pets.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Tougher sentences for animal abusers to include a lifetime ban on owning pets

Decisions on how to investigate cases are a matter for the police and not the UK Government and Parliament.
