Hold university offers for students wishing to sit exams in summer 2021

What the petition asks
Work with UCAS to transfer this year's offers from university to next year for any student wanting to take their exams in summer 2021.
We were promised results mid July but received them half way through August, a month and a half before the October exams. There is simply not enough time for students to do their best in October and this disproportionally effects students who can't pay for a private tutor. Every student should have a fair chance at getting the grades they deserve, going to the university they applied for and to be in control of their own future.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament are not responsible for the issue you raise.
Individual universities are responsible for decisions about admissions. You could start a new petition calling for the Government to provide funding to universities for additional places for people who are resitting in 2021, if that's something that you'd like to see.
