What the petition asks
To use scheduled annual/biannual referendums to determine public confidence and faith in the performance of the Government;
To consider an overwhelmingly negative public opinion of the Government as a catalyst for Parliament to debate the calling of a snap General Election.

This reform would further the accountability of the Government to the people of the country, as well as ensuring that a Government that is believed to be incompetent can be held to account and removed.
