Stop the reopening of the Stoke to Leek railway line.

What the petition asks
We would like the government to block the reopening of this line that has been disused for 32 years.
This railway has been disused since 1988 and has grown into a peaceful wild life habitat. The huge amount of construction needed to reinstate the line would not only destroy this habitat, but these lives of many people who live adjacent to the line.
There are safety concerns for local school children going to and from school and also playing on the line and causing a danger to road users by dropping stones onto the road below bridges as has before.
It needs to stay as a green space.

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
