Front line security workers to receive perm key worker status and benefits

What the petition asks
To ensure front line security professionals recieve key worker status and benefits permanently and receive recognition as a professional industry.
We need the Government to recognise the security industry and support its hard working staff. They come to work in times of danger and keep the work places open, sometimes at the risk of their families and loved ones.
They are under valued and under estimated every day and permanent recognition from the government will help professionalise the industry and the people working in it.

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Other than for the purposes of the Covid-19 lockdown, there is no keyworker status with specific associated benefits
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do specifically for security staff.
