What the petition asks

Everyday I see countless hateful, racist ,sexist and hurtful comments on newspaper articles where it is just not needed. Posting these articles causes a lot of horrid comments from hateful people. I want it so that individuals aren’t infected by the hate. Also so cowards can’t hide behind screens.

I want it to be encouraged that newspapers remove the comment section and only allow it to be shared. That way if people want to be hateful they are only hateful more publicly and others can see them for who they are. I want everyone protected from seeing these vile comments.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
