Ensure Last Night of the Proms upholds tradition

What the petition asks
Make it plain that the BBC is a quintessentially British corporation, paid for by the licence payers of this country.
British tradition is sacrosanct to many voiceless people in this country. We are still the majority yet our voices are neither being heard or heeded. The choice of music should not be subject to the whim of visiting conductors or guest singers.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
