Mandatory Externally-run Bi-Annual Drug Tests for all Members of Parliament

What the petition asks
Organise bi-annual drug tests for all Members of Parliament, organised by an external body with all results available to the public upon request. The date of testing must not be announced too far in advance, in order to minimise any foul play or fabrication of results.
Trust between the UK government and the public is at an all-time-low. To remedy this undesirable, counterproductive air, we must ensure that a 'practice-what-you-preach' ethos is followed; as it is paramount that transparency, trust and fairness are at the forefront of politics in the modern world.
As the UK government is so staunchly anti-drug, with public money being spent on taking drugs off the streets, it is only right that we know for certain that we really are "all in this together".
