Require specified levels of hedge planting for all new developments

What the petition asks
Please set statutory requirements for every building erected and green/brown site built on, or cemented that sufficient hedging is planted for wildlife.
Developers are tearing down our environment at a great rate of knots.
Please write into constitutional law that all builders and developers MUST combat climate change by hedge (and/or) tree planting. They are quite happy to dodge loopholes on building local amenities i.e. schools by subcontracting, many have no social conscience. If you could please put in law that for every acre they decimate they must replant a portion of greenery to protect humans and wildlife from weathering and erosion, you do us all a favour. No trees, high winds. No food chain, issues.
