Accommodate the needs of children with autism attending mainstream schools

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Provide mainstream schools with funding for professionals and educational tools to accommodate the needs of children with autism, learning difficulties, special education ect. If that child wishes to attend a mainstream school, the school must be able to accommodate their needs. inclusion, equality
My son is on the autism spectrum, and I have been informed he may not be able to attend our preferred school as the school does not have the funding or educational tools/professionals to provide my son with the extra help with his education that he needs. My son has made friendships/ bonds with other children, teachers and is very comfortable and happy in his school, he’s put so much effort into achieving this as this is something he struggles with, many other parents are in the same situation.
