What the petition asks

A recent leaked document revealed that double the number of badgers will be killed in 2020 compared to 2019. A staggering 64,500 lives lost to this needless and scientifically unproven cull.

We demand that the Government immediately ends the badger cull and begins a phase of vaccinations.

In March 2020 the environment secretary stated how "No one wants to continue the cull of this protected species indefinitely" and in reply to another petition the Government responded that "The current intensive badger culling policy will be phased out in the next few years".
