Make sending unsolicited explicit photos a specific sexual offence

What the petition asks
Categorise the unsolicited sending of sexually explicit photographs such as photos of genitals through Social Media and any other medium as a serious sexual offence, which is criminal and therefore chargeable.
I feel that being able to send unsolicited, graphic photos of one's genitals to another person without provocation or consent, should be a criminal offence and be classed as a serious sexual assault upon an individual. It's a behaviour that has somehow become normalised in modern society but should be nothing short of unacceptable.
If an individual were to approach someone in the street and show them their genitals, that would be classed as a sexual offence. Doing the same through Social Media Platforms should be held to the same standard.
