Make the temporary increases to Universal Credit permanent

What the petition asks
To keep the increases on universal credit due to covid-19 outbreak as universal credit has been frozen for 5 years yet inflation has went up and people have struggled to get the bare minimum to get them by each month to the extent that it has cost a lot of people their mental health.
With inflation going up but universal credit staying frozen and the allowance what it was people were finding it hard to get by, to get what they need. If you have your own flat or house you have to keep up with the payments of that gas/electricity for the month plus food for the month and travel to and from potential employment or to the job centre etc.
Its been 5 years since UC has been increased and with the covid-19 outbreak and UC going up to put it back down it will be catastrophic.
