What the petition asks

Social diatanced seminars, schools can have lessons but we cant have lectures
Libraries to be open on campuses, if they are then have them open for extra hours.
Consider reduced tuituon and accommodation fees
more financial support for those whos parents or themselves have lost jobs due to covid

Most public schools have reopened, without mask-wearing, and reduced social distances; however, University students are being told that lectures will have to be online when there are more space and opportunity for social distancing in University campuses and lecture halls.
Many people are struggling with financials as they have lost jobs due to the pandemic. Therefore, we want reductions in fees, in both tuition and rent/accommodation or we want increased loans.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Require universities to partially refund tuition fees for 20/21 due to Covid-19

The Govenrment and Parliament aren't responsible for rental contracts, but you could start a petition calling for the Government to provide grants to students in light of Covid-19.
