Exclude children under 12 months from the social distancing rules in England

What the petition asks
Exclude children under 12 months from the social distancing rules restricting groups to no more than 6 people. Babies under 12 months do not socialise independently so do not pose any additional risk.
Mothers on maternity leave have already spent significant time this year without social support. Including a baby under 12 months as part of a group of 6 means that once again, mothers are being restricted further. Babies under 12 months do not socialise independently so should be considered as an extension of their parent.
