Ensure that all legislation complies with international law

What the petition asks
I feel strongly that failing to comply with international law is both wrong in principle, and will diminish our standing and influence in the world. When it introduces a Bill, the Government should provide a declaration that the Bill complies with international law.
For centuries Britain has played a leading role in world affairs. This reputation is too important to be squandered for political convenience over one issue. I believe that this is something that supporters and opponents of leaving the EU can agree on.
