Change the way Daily Death Figures are Reported in the Media

We want the government to change the way in which daily death figures are reported to the public. Currently we are only given death figures for Covid 19 to justify restrictions and lockdown. We want the government to make a change in the way that it reports its daily figures to the public

You want the media to report data on deaths from other causes alongside data on Covid-19 deaths. This is a matter for individual media outlets, not the UK Government or Parliament.

Given your concerns, you may wish to sign this petition which calls for a public inquiry into the Government's handling of the Covid-19 crisis: Hold a Public Inquiry into the handling of the Covid-19 crisis. The petition calls for any such inquiry to look at "what decisions were made around preventing the spread of the coronavirus and protection of the UK population, and how this was balanced with the level of health care services available and effects on the economy".
