Crack down on bogus delivery companies
Rejected
11 signatures
What the petition asks
Take an active step in the way parcel and delivery companies operate in order for safe delivery of parcels for consumers nationwide, with the online market forever increasing I believe the government should be involved in making sure companies operate in the correct manner
I would like the government to review current laws and bring something into legislation so companies have to meet certain requirements in order for consumers to receive the correct service they pay for.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
You seem concerned about the regulation of delivery companies but you don't specify what it is about how delivery companies are operating that you want to change, nor the requirements you want them to have to meet.
You can find out what regulations are in place relating to online and distance selling here: https://www.gov.uk/online-and-distance-selling-for-businesses.
You could start a petition which asks the Government to change these regulations in some specified way, if that is something you'd like to happen.
