What the petition asks

Stop all developments on Green and farm land, and improve the existing infrastructure ie roads, schools, sewage, transport and increase capacity before more homes are built

The local authority is blaming the government targets for new homes in Medway and is destroying our countryside and our way of life. The local authority is also ignoring petition not raised through this system

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

This is a matter for Medway Council, not the UK Government or Parliament.

Further, the Government's Housing Infrastructure Fund was specifically created to support the building of the infrastructure needed to support the building of new houses, potentially including roads, sewage and more: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/625528/DCLG_Introduction_to_Housing_Infrastructure_WEB.pdf. It is therefore not clear what else you want the UK Government to do.

You could start a petition calling for the Government to ban any development on green belt land if that is something you'd like to happen.
