No reduction of the protections provided by the Human Rights Act

What the petition asks
There are reports the Government is reviewing UK human rights laws, which could lead to changes to make it easier to deport refugees and asylum seekers. This should not happen. Every person has the right to life, liberty and security, and should not be subjected to inhuman or degrading treatment.
Removing or changing the protections in the Human Rights Act would directly affect the protection of people within the UK, whether citizens or not. The Government should not reduce the protections provided by the Human Rights Act in any way.
