Mandatory COVID tests at airports/ports for departing and arriving travellers

What the petition asks
Introduce testing stations at airports & ports in the UK for departure and arriving flights/ferries to ensure that travellers are able to board ‘COVID free’ flights & sailings. Also for the arriving travellers to be tested before leaving the airport and isolated if necessary.
COVID is still spreading. Cases are still on the rise. We are seeing more and more local restrictions being rolled out. The virus was brought into the country via a traveller. Therefore if testing at airports/ports is successful, this may help reduce the number of cases being transferred worldwide. It would enable a more through database of track and trace and could possibly assist in pin pointing the area in which a person was infected, therefore enabling in quicker containment and treatment.
