What the petition asks

Agency employees are been paid way lower wages than permanent employees. Agency worked getting minimum wage for three months before wage is been raised and still will not match what contracted employees will get for the same position. Equal pay for Agency and Permanent employees

Agency workers are been exploited to do same job for way lower wages that permanent employees. Employees unions are shaking hands with companies to pay less for Agency employees up to 40% lower wages for the same job. The discrimination against agency workers must end.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Since April 2020, it has been illegal for companies to pay temporary workers less than full time workers.
