Require primary schools to assess all students for learning difficulties

What the petition asks
The Government should require primary schools to assess all students for learning difficulties, so these can be identified at an early age. Funding should be provided so that primary school staff are trained and able to perform these assessments and identify any difficulties.
Too many children are failed by school that do not identify children with learning difficulties, meaning they do not receive the additional support the need throughout their education. This must change.
