What the petition asks
The right to family life should include an inalienable right for family members to meet should they decide to do so. The government should have no jurisdiction over families exercising informed consent to meet up.
Removing the right of families to exercise informed consent and meet up should they choose to do so is causing heartbreak, impacting all family members emotional wellbeing and impacting childcare arrangements for working parents.
No government should be empowered to destroy family life.
