Reform Sex Education in Secondary Schools
Rejected

What the petition asks
Bring in trained professionals that are experts in sex education for students to be more knowledgeable in the pleasure and emotional side of sex.
Sex education is directed at the reproductive benefits and students should learn LGBTQ sex education as well as self-pleasure. The youngest generations have the largest percentage of LGBTQ peoples and they are erased from sex education and sexual culture. As well as this, sex education is directed in how to pleasure men and women are left out in self-pleasure talks and in sex. We need reform so society is sex positive and women and LGBTQ people aren't erased from sexual culture.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. Decisions on how lessons are delivered are a matter for individual schools and teachers.
We could accept a petition that calls for specific changes to the national curricilum, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
